Mechanical Joint Integrity Training

CR Asia Thailand (CRAT) attended LAPP Equipment UK’s Mechanical Joint Integrity training course in March 2019. The course was well organised and covered hand torqueing, hydraulic torqueing and hydraulic tensioning. Our technicians learnt how to use and apply a range of equipment along with good practices for assembly and disassembly and underwent written, fault detection and practical tests to demonstrate their competence.

With this training, our team is able to safely work with bolted joints and know the correct use and method of torque tightening and bolt tensioning. They understand the behaviour of bolts, nuts, gaskets and flanges and are well informed of the best practices for assembly and disassembly.

We recommend this training as it was very well organised and we have all learnt a lot from it.  We will also review our internal bolting course to improve the training for temporary employees.
