Maintenance Manager, Jamnagar, India

CR Asia provides highly specialized maintenance services to the refining, petrochemical and other heavy industries throughout the Asian region.

We are currently in search of a Maintenance Manager for Jamnagar India.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate authority and responsibility to staff
  • Collaborate with customer to resolve maintenance problems and to keep process equipment operating in an efficient manner
  • Lead the effective execution of all plant maintenance and assigned projects, in support of Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Performs all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability
  • Schedule and direct all maintenance personnel, coordinate maintenance schedules for the most effective use, coordinate the training of Maintenance Personnel, and participate in hiring and disciplinary action of department personnel
  • Ensure a safe, efficient and effective use of all supervised craft resources
  • Review various reports and confer, when needed, with the Operation and Technical Manager to review problems and to ensure corrective action
  • Establish priorities to minimize downtime
  • Assure, maintain, and repair all aspects of the plant equipment and facility
  • Maintain a preventive and predictive maintenance programs on all machinery, equipment, etc, with documentation and records necessary to support the program
  • Coordinate maintenance department inventory system to be certain for adequate supply of material and repair parts are in stock to reduce operation downtime
  • Maintain contacts with Original Equipment Manufacturers to keep abreast of latest developments and techniques in maintenance and repair fields. Ensure that the department is trained to the latest techniques
  • Coordinate to insure the facility is constantly in a clean and safe condition
  • Enforce safety rules daily
  • Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and conditions
  • Conduct daily observations of PPE use, safe work practices adherence, and coach employees as needed
  • Ensure that all incidents, including first aid, are reported
  • Build credibility through continuous demonstration of safety as a value through personal actions
  • Complete employee development plans. Organize, communicate, and motivate employees. Must be able to prioritize own workday schedule
  • Schedule, coordinate, and direct all necessary maintenance work. Make preliminary, intermediate, and final inspection of maintenance work to insure proper workmanship, materials, and conformance to work methods and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • B.E Mechanical/Chemical – 10-15 years of maintenance experience
